The action of a great man provides inspiration to others. Whatever he does, becomes a standard for others to follow. Modern School owes the genius of our beloved Founder Chairman Late Dr. S. D. Jain, a transformer of vision into reality. His love for education made him dream to provide world-class education at affordable cost. His dream culminated into reality in the year 1979 with the inception of Modern School Faridabad, which now stands tall and is converted into a chain of Modern Schools. The family of Modernites is grateful to him for giving way to the unending success.

- The school is hosting TEDX YOUTH TALKS in its Bhagwan Mahavir Auditorium on February 3,2026.
- MODERN MELANGE -Talent Fiesta is going to be hosted on November 3,2025-as homage to (Late) Dr. S. D. Jain, our founder visionary Chairman sir. Schools from Faridabad and NCR have been invited to participate in this.
- Haryana State Finswimming Championship will be held in the school campus on July 19 & 20 ,2025.
- An Exclusive Book Fair will be organised from April 24 to April 26,2025. Some fun games and activities will also be organised for junior classes Ru- ba -ru with a storyteller will be the main attraction of this fair.
- Celebrating 46 Glorious Years | 47th Foundation Day – 16th April 2025Modern School joyously celebrated its 47th Foundation Day — a day that marks not just the birth of an institution, but the beginning of a legacy built on vision, values and excellence. Principal and the staff paid homage to Late Dr.S.DJain ,Founder visionary chairman sir.
- A 4 hours workshop was conducted on the topic EARLY CHILD CARE AND EDUCATION FOR TEACHERS in the school on November 30,2024. Approx.90 kindergarten teachers got benefitted from this.Mrs. Renu Gupta,a veteran Teachers ‘ Trainer was the facilitator for this workshop who touched each and every aspect of class room teaching by live demonstrations.
- Muskan Function -2024 was organised in the school campus with full gaiety and enthusiasm onDecember7,2024.Mrs.Pinki Mor, District Child Welfare Officer,Faridabad was the Chief Guest on this occasion .
- Muskan – Kids’ Carnival is being organised on December 7,2024.Around 600 kids of play schools from Faridabad will be participating in this carnival alongwith their parents. Fancy races, drawing,colouring and many other activities befitting kids have been planned for this.

- Rashtriya Ekta Divas was celebrated on 31.10.2022 to commemorate the Birth Anniversary of Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel – The Iron Man. A Unity Run was also organized by the school to reaffirm the inherent strength and resilience of our people to withstand threats to the security, unity and integrity of the country. 922 students participated in the run.
- Ms.Chhaya of class 9 won Gold Medal in 3000 mts.and 10000 Mts.Marathon Race in 13th National Championship held at DPS, Prayagraj,U.P.

47 th ANNUAL DAY
The school celebrated its 47th Annual Day on 23rd December, 2025. Mr.Arvind Kumar,Regional Officer,CBSE, Gurugram was the chief guest on this occasion.Ms. Reetu Yadav, Chief Judicial Magistrate, Faridabad presided over the function.
Dr Jayant Ahuja, CMO, Faridabad, Mr. Sanjeev Kumar HPS, Assistant Commissioner of Police,Faridabad, Mr. H. P. Singh, District and Sessions Judge( retd.), Group Captain Dr. Anand Sarup, retd.from Indian Air Force illuminated the occasion as the Guests of Eminence. VIPs, dignified Administrators,Business tycoons, renowned Educationists, Media persons and the parentsv were also invited on this occasion.Mrs. Neelima Jain, Principal, Mr. S.K.Jain, Mg.Director, Mr. Tarun Jain, Director and Mr. Varun Jain, Director extended floral welcome to all guests and dignitaries present on the occasion. A colourful panorama of variety programme presented by school students enthralled one and all and received thunderous applause. The whole auditorium reverberated and resonated with the appreciation claps of parents and dignitaries.
Outstanding talented and Achievers in Sports and co-curricular activities were lauded and awarded by the Hon’ble Guest(s). The meritorious students of Session 2024-25 were also awarded with Dr S.D.Jain Memorial Scholarship .The Chief Guest addressed the audience and congratulated all prize winners, their parents, mentors and Management of the school. He appreciated the outstanding achievements of the Modernites and the variety of cultural programme presented by the students.
A Hindi play – Ran – Bankure – a saga of valor and sacrifice drawn from the Rajputana history,was the main attraction of the function.

Vande-Matram,STOIC Eklavya: The Unseen Devotion,Christmas Carols of joy,Bhangra -Vibes of Punjab

- STREAM SELECTION IN CLASS 11
The school organised an Orientation Programme for Class X students and their parents on 6th December 2025 in the school auditorium. The objective of the session was to guide students in selecting the right stream for Class XI by understanding their interests, strengths, and future career aspirations.
The programme began with a warm welcome, followed by an insightful session by the guest speaker, Mr. Vineet Vaidya, a Mechanical Engineer from DCE and MBA and a veteran career coach. He explained the key features of the Science, Commerce, and Humanities streams, subject combinations, and various career paths associated with them. His guidance helped students gain clarity and confidence in making informed academic decisions.
The session was highly informative and beneficial for both students and parents, helping them take a thoughtful step toward a bright academic future. - LITTLE LEGENDS’ LEAGUE-2025 was organised in the school for its pre – primary kids on November 14,2025 – the Children’s Day. Various sports events, races and ornamental drills like Aerobics– Move and Groove,PT Drill & Dazzle, Taekwondo Titans,Rhythms of Yoga,Crazy Races- Giggle and Go and many such more were organized for the motivation of kids. Ms. Niresh,District Sports Officer,Faridabad,Mr. Giriraj ,Bheem Awardee and Arjun Awardee,Deputy Director of Sports,Govt. Of Haryana, Mr.Bheem Singh,First Arjun Awardee,Mr. Manmohan Gupta,President,District Swimming Association,Faridabad and Mr. Harsh Gill,Asian Champion, Kickboxing-the alumnus of the school were the Hon’ble Guests on this occasion.
- ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE AWARDS-2025 was organised on November 11,2025 in the school auditorium. Approximately 150 meritorious students from class 9 to class 12 (session 2024-25) including Komal Yadav, District topper in Commerce Stream,were felicitated on this occasion. Students selected in JEE, NEET, NDA, NIFT, toppers of CUET and the school students with 100% attendance were also honoured on this day. Shri Mayank Bhardwaj HCS, SDM, Ballabgargh, Shri Mukesh Vashisth Media Co-ordinator,Office of Chief Minister, Haryana, Shri Rajender Singh Dhilon, Chairman, Faridabad Branch of NIRC & ICAI,Shri Anoop Modi, CA (Advocate), Shri Vinayak Garg CA were the hon’ble guests today. A panorama of mesmerising dances like stuti in Bharatnatyam and a Ladakhi dance presented by hostellers won appreciation all over. The parents of meritorious and most regular students were also invited and felicitated. Miss Saanvi, Head Girl of the school proposed the vote of thanks.
- Modern Melange-a talent Fiesta was organised on November 3,2025 -as homage to our founder Chairman sir (Late) Dr S. D. Jain. Ms. Ekta Gupta, alumna of the school who has recently been honoured with Mrs. South Asia Universe-2025 and Mr. Rajesh Kumar HCS, Joint Commissioner, MCF, Old Faridabad were the honourable guests on this occasion.
- The school in coordination with SPIC MACAY hosted a Lecture and demonstration on Kuchipudi Dance on October 8,2025 in its Bhagwan Mahavir Auditorium. This was held in the school as part of the ongoing cultural series organized by SPIC MACAY (Society for the Promotion of Indian Classical Music and Culture Amongst Youth).The event aimed to acquaint students with the rich heritage and classical traditions of India.
The performance was presented by the renowned Kuchipudi exponent, Guru Vanashree Rao accompanied by her disciple Washim Raja, a dancer and K. - Modern School celebrated its46th Annual Appreciation Day with great enthusiasm and splendour on 21st of August, 2025 in the school auditorium in two sessions. The event aimed at acknowledging and honouring the hard work, talent and achievements of students in scholastic domain.The students with 100% attendance were also honoured on this occasion.

- The school hosted a vibrant and grand STEAM (I)³-Sphere Exhibition on 12th July 2025. The event celebrated innovation and creativity across Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics. Students from various classes showcased their projects, working models, and experiments with great enthusiasm.
- The school celebrated International Yoga Day with great enthusiasm and zeal on 21st June ,2025 The event commenced at Sports Stadium,sector 12, Faridabad, early in the morning with the participation of students, teachers, and othe staff members.

- LUCKY wins Award by HE Governor of Haryana
HE Shri B.Duttatreya, Governor of Haryana awarded Lucky, a student of class 12 in Modern School, Sector 17, Faridabad for winning Bronze Medal at National Level in 10 mts.Air Pistol Shooting Championship held by School Games Federation of India.She was honoured in 76th Republic Day celebration held recently in Faridabad.Miss Lucky had already won Gold Medal at District level and Silver Medal at State level. - Modern School hosted a seminar on Drug Abuse and illicit Trafficking on 29 th of July,2024 organised by HSCCW,Faridabad.

Mr. Bandaru Dattatreya Governor of Haryana- President of Haryana State Council for Child Welfare was the Chief Guest in this seminar.Besides,Shri Mool Chand Sharma,State Minister of Industries,Mrs.Seema Trikha,State Education Minister, Shri Rajesh Nagar,MLA, Ms.Shikha,SDM, Faridabad, Mr.Anil Malik and several other V.V.I.Ps ,VIPs,officials from Administration ,Mr.Sushil Kumar Jain, Chairman ,Mr.Sourabh Jain ,Director of the school were also present on this occasion.
